Share vs. Review 360

Hello,

I completed my Rise course and I was told all that is needed is a link for the users to follow to view the course. What is the very best option for this? Not sure if it matters, but it is a large amount of people who have no access and never will to an LMS. Thanks!

  • Hi Lindsay,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The Rise 360 Share link is used as a quick way to share an unpublished version of your course, while Review 360 is primarily used to gather course feedback from your SMEs and stakeholders. We don't recommend using any of these as a permanent way to deliver courses to your learners.

If you need a solution for hosting your courses that isn't an LMS, I recommend checking out Amazon S3. Their environment allows hosting static websites, and the procedure to upload published Rise 360 courses is straightforward. You need to publish your Rise 360 course for web distribution and upload the contents of the published folder to Amazon S3 to make the courses available. Note that hosting on a web server or Amazon S3 won't give you any reporting data that you get if you host your course in an LMS.

Let me know if you have any questions!
