Is this intended to be a quiz?
The reason for the flashing pulse is because that indicates what you selected. If you don't want the quiz feature then, adding additional hotspots should be relatively straightforward.
It does not need to be a quiz, we just need the learner to click in the right areas to simulate the setup of a thermostat.
