SL illustration background fill won't change?
I'm creating a project, and I've tried to change the fill of the last two illustrations I've used to be "slide background fill." But it won't change. The two images I tried to use have a solid white background that's too stark. I want just the image (e.g., a person waving, not a person waving against a white square plane).
Why can't I change it?
(I've been posting questions galore because this is the first project I'm attempting. I hope I don't wear out my welcome on this forum!).

Vickie,
Can you provide your .story file so I can see what you are looking at? Or at least the slide you are talking about?

Thanks (I'm not sure happened to the title of my post; I just edited it)

Vickie,
This illustration is a JPG so it doesn't support a transparent background. You need to convert this to a PNG or GIF. There are lots of free tools out there that will do this.
Here is one I use: https://www.adobe.com/express/feature/image/transparent-backgroundYou will need to setup a free account to download.
I've attached your .story file with the PNG image so you can see it is now transparent.
Have a wonderful evening.
