Slide in a very small lightbox - Bug/malfunction while browsing SCORM on Docebo
Hello everyone,
I hope this is not a double topic, I've searched a couple of keywords in the discussions but nothing seems to look like my problem.
I have been working with Storyline 3 for years and I've recently come across an unprecedented problem with a course uploaded on Docebo LMS.
2 different users out of around 100 who have taken the course have experienced the issue visible in the attached pictures: basically, a slide appears in a very small lightbox which makes it impossible to interact with it, thus to proceed with the course. We have been forced to reset modules manually to unlock access to the user.
One of the users informs that the problem occurred after exiting and re-entering the course coming back to that same slide (which is correct and expectable, as the setting is "always resume"). However recurring this seems to be random as we have tested exiting and re-entering courses on the LMS multiple times and it just appears to happen to some users occasionally, so this doesn't seem to be a rule.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Francesca
Hello Francesca!
Thank you for sharing screenshots! I haven't heard of this issue before. If it's not happening continuously, it's hard to narrow down if the issue is coming from the Storyline course or Docebo.
In one of your screenshots, it looks like the learner is using Firefox. Are both learners using Firefox?

Hi Lauren and thank you for your kind reply.
The screenshots were actually taken by me and my colleagues in user view after they reported the problem, so it's just our browsers (Firefox in the first screenshot, Chrome in the second). We can indeed check with these learners if they were using the same browser and one different from the other users.
However do you think the browser used could play a role? In that case I think we can try to test with different browsers ourselves. Hello Francesca and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
Thank you for the additional information. Lauren touched on it, but narrowing down where the issue is coming from can be helpful. Are you able to recreate the issue outside of Docebo? I'd recommend using SCORM Cloud for testing. This will help determine if the issue lies within the project or it is specific to your LMS.
If you are able to replicate the issue, then please share your project file with our support engineers to investigate what's happening. You can share it privately by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.
