sliding bullets in one at a time
i have imported a PPT into storyline and have numerous slides with lists of bullets. i would like the bullets to slide in one at a time. i have searched unsuccessfully for the "how-to" and suspect...
that did it!! thank you so much!! huge help!!
is there any sort of suggested standard for how many seconds to wait before bringing in the next single-line bullet?
is there a way to make bullets appear left to right instead of bottom to top?
If you look at the image in my previous comment, you'll see that the Effect Options drop-down lets you specify a direction for the animation.
As for timing: I hate it when a course slows down the entrance of text. I assume that is usually done to increase seat time and to (try to) force folks to read the text. But it's frustrating if one reads faster than the entrance timing. I also think it's distracting, because if I am reading and something else moves on the slide, that will pull my attention.
So, personally, I think it's best to either have all of the text appear quickly or to add controls for the user to bring on additional text when they're ready.
