Small gap between slide content and player

This is something I've noticed in Storyline for a few years now.  9 times out of 10, there is usually a small 1px gap between the edge of my slide content and the player, making it impossible to cr...

Hello Alistair​, 

I appreciate you sharing screenshots of what you are experiencing! I want to confirm that this behavior is related to a bug that our team is investigating. We do not have any updates at this time. I've added your voice to this report. 

As a workaround, we are sharing with folks to insert a shape that is bigger than the slide and filled with the same color as the player to avoid this gap.

I understand you mentioned being unable to share your file. If you are having difficulty with the workaround in your project file, we can work privately in a support case and have our team sign an NDA to assist you further. 

 

We'll share any updates on a fix in this thread so everyone is in the loop!

Hi Luciana, 

Thanks for your reply, however, please see the final image in my post. I have already tried placing a shape larger than the slide filled with the same colour, however, the gap still persists. It seems that SL decides which shapes to cull at the slide bounds and which ones not too.

    Thanks for the additional information, Alistair! We're monitoring the bug discussed in this thread and will let you know as soon as a fix is released.
