Storyline 3 stopped importing powerpoint files

I was previously importing powerpoint files to Storyline 3 and out of the blue I am unable to do so anymore. Even with files that have been imported before. I have followed all the steps from https://articulate.com/support/article/Storyline-3-Failed-to-Import-PowerPoint-Presentation to no avail. I cannot upgrade to 360 nor can I show what I am working on due to my work. I believe it is a Storyline issue, which I have re-installed too and still having the same issue. I have repaired and re-installed MS Office as well. Out of ideas here. I am at the most current S3 and Office/Powerpoint as of today 6/15/2021.
