storyline 360- publish to video thumbnail not saving as first slide of scene
Hi Training Team,
This is expected behavior. The cover photo is part of the Player, and the Player does not get included when a course is published to video.
If you'd like the cover photo to appear, you can publish to another output or do the following:
- Publish your Storyline 360 course to video
- Edit the published video in Replay 360 and add the desired image at the start
- Publish the Replay 360 project
I hope this helps!

I am having a similar issue - I publish to video and the thumbnail defaults to some random spot in the video, NOT the first slide which is a "title" sort of slide that has identifying info. Is there a fix? Thank you!

Hi LoriCobbs24,
Thanks for reaching out!
I'm curious if the background on the first slide has been changed to a color other than the default, white background. We're investigating a possible software bug where the video thumbnail displays the second slide if the first slide's background is changed to a different color. If you're willing to share your file here or privately in a support case, I'd be happy to take a closer look to see if this bug could be affecting your project!
