Storyline 360 simulations too small in LMS

Hello,

We have simulations that we create in Storyline 360 and insert them into Rise for our LMS, but when our users go to complete the simulation within the course on their laptop monitors, it's very hard to read and difficult for them to see where to click to move on to the next step in the simulation. We're using the Modern Player in Storyline and I read in the articles about the Modern Zoom Player, but I'm not sure how we can use that feature to allow our users to make the simulation bigger on their laptops so they can see it. Any recommendations?

Thanks for reaching out! I can see how it would be a challenge for learners trying to follow along with a simulation on smaller laptop screens.

The Modern Player Zoom feature in Storyline automatically scales your course to fit the learner’s browser, helping make content more readable. It doesn’t give learners a manual zoom control, though. You can read more about how it works here: Storyline 360: Modern Player Zoom.

If your simulation still looks a bit small in Rise, try this:

I'd be happy to take a quick look at your .story file and suggest the best settings for your course. You can share it here or privately in a support case.

Hope that helps make your simulations easier to see and navigate!
