Storyline 360 Text Box

How do I stop the animation on the text box? I don't want it flying in with the text. I want it stationary on the slide when the slide comes on- just like the Safety During Your Visit is stationary and then the wording to have an animation such as "float in", effect options "by paragraph".  Do I need to use a slide trigger to keep the text box from moving? I've attached a short video.

  • Hi Sarah

Select the text box > animations tab > select drop down arrow in entrance animation > select none

When I turn that off, none of my words come in that are in the text box.  How do I fix that?

Some of my slides work perfectly, others not so much.

        Hi Sarah

Check that there isn’t a hidden state on the test box or perhaps a trigger.  Can you share the .story file or just that slide and I’ll take a look.

I figured it out. I imported my Sales Content Designers ppt into Storyline and I think that's why. I opened her PowerPoint and copied her boxes and now it works!
