Storyline audio stops working on random slides
- 1 month ago
Hello everyone!
Happy to share that we've just released a new update for Storyline 360!
In Update 118, we've included essential fixes and new features. We've released a fix for:
- Slides with audio didn’t always play as expected.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help.
What do we do to fix this issue if our company is behind in updates. Internal approval needed for each update creates a lag. We just got the 1.117.36909.0 update and are now experiencing this issue, which is keeping us from completing development on trainings.
Hello NikkiMoore5,
I understand that your organization has a slight lag due to internal approval of versioning of Storyline 360. I can confirm that the best way to take advantage of fixes and features is to run the latest version of Storyline 360, but I recognize that may not be an immediate option for your team. For reference, the current release is Update 120.
To help troubleshoot this audio issue, you can try:
- Importing your existing slides into a brand new .story file to see if that helps while you wait for approval. It'll be helpful to save that file locally to your hard drive to avoid any additional erratic behavior.
- Rolling back your Storyline installation to an earlier version ( such as Update 116 or 115) to see if the issue is specific to Update 117.
If the issue continues, we'd be happy to investigate further in a support case.
