Storyline Block in Rise when viewed on Phone
- 10 days ago
Hi Liz_Tyler!
Glad to see Phil has been helping you. Happy to jump in here!
What you're describing is the expected behavior for Storyline Blocks, with videos, that have been added to a Rise 360 course. Currently, they do not play back when previewing the course within Rise 360. However, we are tracking a feature request to introduce this functionality. I've included your voice in the feature report!
Once you publish the Rise course, the Storyline Block should play as expected when a learner clicks the play button.
Please let me know if you need anything else!
he block should work on a phone it will have a black screen with a play button but it will work

But it doesn't unfortunately. It appears, but you can click on it all day and it's non-responsive. Is that just because I'm using the facility to check my course on different devices in Articulate? If so, will it be a case of only being able to see if it's ok in phone view once it's published?

Hi, thank you for this. As long as it works within the live course, that's the important thing. But, it would be a really useful feature to have it working in preview mode.
