Storyline display problem on virtualized Windows 11

Hello,
I installed articulate 360 Storyline on virtualized Windows 11 on virtualbox 7.0.16_ Ubuntu r162802 installed on Ubuntu 24.04. It works except for the areas / fields to be completed on the slides which have a black background and a black font. In fact, we cannot see what we are writing, except by changing the font color. Do you know how to change the default appearance of the background of the fields to be completed?
Thanks in advance

  • Hello Marcen,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We don't officially support Ubuntu as an operating system, even on a virtualization level. With that being said, you'll want to ensure that your Windows 11 virtual environment meets the minimum system requirements to run Storyline 360. You can also try installing Articulate 360 on a non-virtualized Windows 11 computer to see if you experience the same results. If the behavior is isolated to the virtualized environment in Ubuntu, you can try replicating the settings in this document. This explains how to run Articulate 360 in a virtualized environment on a Mac machine, so hopefully some of the settings are similar.

    Hope this helps!
