Storyline Interactives in Rise not displaying in Canvas
Hello all, Have a course with a combo of videos and Storyline interactive blocks in Rise. Published Rise for Web because don't need the LMS tracking. After embedding the Rise course in Canvas (using HTML editing) the interactive in Lesson 1 works, but the other interactives in lessons 2, 4, and 5 don't even show up in Canvas. All interactives display and work fine in Rise. The problem is likely the translation to Canvas. Wondering if any of you have experience with Rise to Canvas set up and ideas about what's creating the problems?

Hi Leslie!
Sorry to hear that your interactive lessons in Storyline that were added to Rise aren't working as they should in Canvas LMS.I would suggest troubleshooting your file in SCORM Cloud to check if the behavior is the same. SCORM Cloud is an industry-standard testing engine that's free and supports AICC, SCORM, Tin Can API (xAPI), and cmi5 content. This video tutorial demonstrates how to use SCORM Cloud with Articulate content. If your course works properly in SCORM Cloud, but not in your LMS, kindly share your SCORM Cloud findings with Canvas to troubleshoot the issue. If the course encounters the same issues in SCORM Cloud, open a case with us here so that we can investigate.- LeslieKepler-94Community Member
Thanks Hazel. As I mentioned in my post the export is not for LMS as there is no tracking needed. The export is for Web. Does the SCORM suggestion still apply?

So sorry that I missed out on that detail, Leslie!
Please check out this similar discussion where Canvas users share their experiences hosting Rise 360 content. Hopefully the tips in that thread would help you!

Unfortunately no, those posts are still about SCORM.

Sorry to hear that none of the posts there helped. Maybe other community members can chime in on their experiences in using export to web with Canvas LMS here.
Have you tried uploading the course on a webserver and checking if you experience the same issues?

Thanks for the heads up and it’s ok. I’ll see if I start getting messages I don’t want 😊
