Storyline low quality screen prints

Why does Storyline produce such low quality screen captures?  I record process steps in an ERP software and the video captured is good quality.  When I click save as step by step slides, the quality of the screen capture is really bad and blurry.  It's basically a 240p capture.  When I play it back for users they complain about the quality.  The 5 second video snippets are really high quality and allow the users to actually see to text on the screen, but the contrast is dramatic between the low quality screen captures and the high quality video.  Since user spend most of the lesson looking at the static screen capture it really impacts the quality.   I don't experience this when working in Camtasia. Screen shots are sharp.  Any updates to the software on the horizon?  I have tried capturing the screen at 1920x1080,  1440x900, 1280x800 and get the same results.  If I try to run my screen at 800x600 to get better quality, you capture too little of the source material and you are not emulating what the user sees.
