Text Entry Boxes with Arrows

Hello,

I need help with an unusual issue. We have two quizzes that leverages text entry boxes to create crossword puzzles. Suddenly, each text box now has up and down arrows that make it impossible to enter a single letter. This file has been created and used for a while. I'm not an articulate specialist, so I'm hoping to fix the issue as I'm unable to recreate the quiz. I would appreciate any suggestions.
