Text to speech
Hello community,
I just had a Storyline 360 license and I wanted to use the function Text to speech but it seems that I do not have this possibility in the menu Insert > Audio. I only have the 3 possibilities: Audio from File, Record Mic and option.
Does Text to speech is an option? How can I have access to this option?
Thank you in advance for your help.

It is under the INSERT tab.

Hi there, Tibor!
The text-to-speech feature is exclusive to Storyline 360. From the screenshot, it looks like you're using Storyline 3.
Here's a short Peek 360 of how the Insert > Audio view looks in both versions, and a handy article on the compatibility between Storyline 360 and Storyline 3 project files.
Let me know if you have any further questions. I'm happy to help!

I am having the exact same issue. Phil R. from support is working on it, but it would be interesting to see if and how it got resolved. We have tried wiping the old version of 360 and reinstalling a new version, but it did not resolve the issue.
Hello Dale, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
I appreciate you sharing that you are currently working with Phil.
It looks like Tibor was using Storyline 3, which explains why they could not see the option. It's exclusive to Storyline 360.
Please share a Peek 360 recording of what you are seeing:

Take a look. As you can see, Storyline 360 is installed, but no Text to Speech option is available.

I appreciate you sharing the image, Dale. Very interesting. I've shared the additional details with Philam in your case so that you can continue working together.

We too are continuing to work with the awesome Articulate Support team to discover a solution. We have discovered that all users under this company license are experiencing the same issue so it is not localized, it is an enterprise issue. That makes it even more interesting.

Hi, Benjamin, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ✨
I took a peek at Dale's case, and as he mentioned above, it was specific to his organization.
I'd like to connect you with one of our support engineers to help troubleshoot why you don't see Text-to-Speech as an option under Insert>Audio. I went ahead and opened a case on your behalf, so you should hear from our team via e-mail soon.
