Hi, I’ve faced this challenge too with large Storyline projects. A few things that help:
- Use the Media Library to track and replace all audio/video in one place
- Rename web objects (iframes) clearly in the timeline (e.g., “iframe_video_1”) so they’re easier to find
- Add a small hidden text or note (like “iframe” or “link”) and use Ctrl+F to quickly locate slides- this saved my life most of the time to keep a text filed to serach the items qickly
- Maintain a simple Excel tracker with slide numbers and links/assets
- Use variables for URLs so you can update links in one place instead of slide by slide
- I’ve also managed iframe videos using JavaScript by loading a master web object from a server and dynamically changing the video based on the slide number. This way, you only need to maintain a single HTML file instead of updating each slide.
