your storyline files seems to damaged (Font Arial ???)
Examples*:
- insert into variable "active_chapter" a default text "iii" -> publish to web -> crash without error message
- replace global "Arial" -> "Open Sans" -> crash without error message
- copy a slide to a new empty .story file -> crash without error message
but a new created file with the variable/text-box in the master slide/trigger -> no problem

you should open a support case - perhaps the support can repaire the file
