I'm getting about 50 MB of unwanted images, making the SCORM too large to import into our LMS.
I got exactly the same response from Articulate.
If you are experiencing this bug, please open a Tech Support case.
It's definitely a bug, not a possible bug.
It is in as a support case and I agree this is definitely a bug! Did they ever follow up with you after the initial response?
They let me know they could replicate the problem (proving that it's a bug IMO), and they would let me know if they changed anything that would resolve the issue.
This does make small microlearning quite ‘heavy’ I am sure it is not affecting the user experience. But it does make me think twice about uploading a scorm when I see the size.

The problem I have now, is that our LMS SCORM ZIP maximum file size is only 50 MB. As I'm getting about 50 MB of unwanted images I currently can't publish any courses to the LMS.
