URGENT: Systematic Memory Leak & DOM Node Explosion - Multiple Projects Affected
Hello,
We’re also experiencing this issue on iOS, particularly with Safari. We’ve encountered it on two projects for major clients. Have you heard anything since your last reply? We’re using the latest version of the Articulate Storyline update.

Hi SebastienAurby,
Thanks for chiming in here. I understand how disruptive this has been, especially with client-facing mobile projects.
I checked on the bug Olivier’s case was linked to, and I wanted to share an update here as well. That specific issue affecting Storyline courses crashing unexpectedly on iOS devices was previously marked as fixed. Since you’re still seeing similar behavior in newer builds, it’s possible this may be related behavior resurfacing or a separate issue.
olivierchemin-2, when you have a chance, could you also test again in the current version and let us know whether you’re still seeing the same behavior on your side?
Sebastien, if you haven’t already, I’d recommend connecting with our Support Engineers through a support case so the team can compare your experience against the previously reported issue.
If possible, please include:
- Your Storyline 360 version/build
- iOS version and browser used
- Whether the issue happens in Review 360, LMS, or both
- A sample Storyline file or published output
- Any specific slide types or media involved (videos, 360° images, web objects, etc.)
That additional detail will help the team investigate further.
