Using Captured Variable (for the person's name)
Dear Heroes:
I want to use the name of an individual, taking the course, which is captured in a text type variable to be used in the machine voice over. I am able to use (say) %Name% to display the name on the slides, but not in the machine narration.
Please help!

If I understand your question correctly, you're looking to add a reference to a variable in text-to-speech so that it would read the value of that variable.
Since text-to-speech happens before you run (preview or publish) the project, it doesn't read the values of the variables. Here is some additional information on the text-to-speech functionality:
