Video output is flickering
Hello everyone!
I am working on a project in which I need to make multiple software simulation videos using Articulate Storyline 360. It involves screen recording of the actual activities in the software, then adding highlights, callouts and other overlays, and the audio. The file is then published as a "Video" output as a deliverable.
The problem I am facing for last few weeks is about flickering of the video screen at multiple places. As I try to find out the exact places where it's flickering, and then change/remove the entry exit animations of the respective objects, or replace the object altogether, the issue persists. What I observed is, the flickering is not related to the objects in the file because every time I publish the same file, the flickering points get added at more places (where it was not flickering earlier) or vise-versa (the earlier flickering objects / points don't flicker anymore in the next publish). I am not getting an output that is without this flickering issue.
Surprisingly, when I publish the file as "Web Output", it's a clean output. The flickering issue goes away in the Web Output. It's the issue of only "Video Output".
If anyone has experienced the same issue, please help me resolve this.

We are facing the same issue again and this time the screen is getting blanked and flickered both. Kindly look into this and suggest some solutions.

Sorry to hear that you're also experiencing flickering when publishing a Storyline course to video. I'd be happy to assist you with this!
The issue being discussed earlier in this thread has been fixed in a previous Storyline 360 update.
If you're comfortable sharing your project file, and a screen recording of the flickering output it would be helpful to take a closer look and test the behavior on our end. You can share them here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
We'll delete it from our system as soon as we've finished troubleshooting!

Just had a same issue with animations and screen flickering after I'd updated to the last version (3.88.32574.0) today. Even though yesterday no problems occured with publishing a video file of the same project. After reading this discussion I quickly realised that the problem is in version, so I reverted to 3.87.32265.0 and it helped. But after all, its not a solution. Kindly asking Support and Dev teams to revise this issue.

I am also experiencing flickering of animated graphics in Storyline published videos. Any new solutions to this ongoing problem?
I uninstalled the current version and installed 3.87.32265.0 and I'm still having the flickering issue.
I see other threads with users requesting help for flickering video output going back multiple years where different versions were tried and do not alway resolve the problem. Could this have something to do with the low quality, 30 fps that video publishes to? Would improving the fps output to 60 fps, which has been an industry standard for higher quality, smooth motion videos, resolve this problem?
