Ways that Virtual Reality is used in Storyline?
I just had a look at the 360° image feature and was quite impressed at the accessibility and screen reader support. Really well thought out.
But I'm not entirely sure what the use-case for the 360° images is.
Is there a plan for HMD support, such as cardboards, etc? (Or ideally Oculus/SteamVR/WebXR/etc.)
Otherwise, the potential of 360° images sadly seems slightly wasted, due to an almost total lack of immersion and intuitive interactivity on a 2D screen presentation.
With HMD support it might actually turn out to be an extremely powerful tool for corporate VR learning. All experiences on one platform and on one software. Could be quite amazing.
Especially if combined with an optimized scripting editor or a Unity SDK (yeah, I am really dreaming now).
Honestly, I know how difficult and borderline impossible this might be, but who knows. :D
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the future of XR-features and would be really interested if there are any plans for HMD support.
