Word document properties
I can publish a word document, but in word, the number of the slides is not recognized as a bullet or number in typical fashion. See attachment.
How do I get these slide numbers out of the word document?

you can try this.
Word: Find multiple manually entered numbers and delete- Open the Find and Replace dialog box (Ctrl+h).
- Click More.
- Select the Use Wildcards checkbox.
- In the Find what field, type: (<[0-9]@>)( – )
- Leave the Replace with field empty.
- Click Replace All.

I tried this and it didn't recognize anything in my document.
Can you rewrite this find query so that it includes 1.1 type section numbering?
I ended up clearing all formatting, then did a find/replace with just (<[0-9]@>) and that cleared everything except the . after each heading number... so with 1. and 1.1 it removed the 1s but left the .s.
any ideas?
