Would love to see examples of how you're using Storyline blocks in Rise

Hey there!

I'm working on some ideas for training and conferences and would love to see how you're using the Storyline blocks in Rise. It can be anything, just curious what you're adding to the Rise course.

If you want to share the example, just post a link in the chat.

Thanks.

  • We were creating a course in Rise and intended to use the Scenario block but ran into limitations with the text character and number of choices limits. We instead created the scenarios in Storyline and imported them to the Rise course.

Thanks for sharing this is a great example of where the power of the Storyline block comes in.

  • We use them in almost every single Rise course we create. Mostly for scenarios, or custom interactions, or more nuanced assessment activities. I like how you can cluster information on the screen too, so the learner doesn't constantly have to scroll down.

Here are some screenshots from a few different types of courses, and different types of clients/learner groups.

I like to use them for the kind of custom interactivites you can't do in Rise, or for reflective activities where you want someone to think or do something and then come back to them with a learning point.  Have just included screenshots of the interactions.

I use blocks to add some branded slides as well as for features that Rise does not have - e.g., the dial to bring in interactivity to the course. Of course, I can use 4 images with text explanation (push, pull, information, process), or 4 flip cards to convey the message, but... I did this using the Storyline block.

I've been using Storyline blocks in Rise to create interactive quizzes and simulations. They've been a great way to add engaging elements to my courses.
