xlsx back to xliff
Hi Thor,
Thanks for the tips. For Storyline (3 or 360) I do use the possibility to export transation files to Word as this is much more manageable for us. From many comments in the forum I have deducted that there are many people who think the same. Not everybody has a superprofessional and well equipped translation-office at hand (or can afford one), so I think giving that possibility in Rise360 as well would be a great improvement.
But Articulate seem to think differently and keep pushing the xliff solution. XLIFF should not be deleted. I have used it to translate and it works nicely except for the fact that there seem to be lots of spaces before and after html tags which irritate the translation system (Smartling) so they all have to be edited by hand. Very tedious.
I am not sure at which step these blanks find their way into the process but I suspect it's at creating the xliff file.
