Continue block in Rise doesn't respond to Storyline trigger even after video has been viewed

Oct 02, 2023

Hi there,

Has anyone experienced this problem: The Continue block that requires you to view the block above before proceeding does not work when the course is viewed in Docebo GoLearn. The content in question is a video that has been put into Storyline with a completion trigger that activates once the video has been viewed. The triggers work fine on a desktop. Any advice is welcome!

Just a few more details about the issue above: The courses were published in Tin Can. The problem only presents when played back on mobile devices using Docebo GoLearn. And other interactive content published as a Storyline block - not only videos are affected. The issue seems to be with Storyline blocks with completion triggers that are not making it through to Rise in GoLearn.

Hello there! I understand you are having issues with the Continue blocks not detecting the completion of the Storyline block.

You can test your course at SCORM Cloud and compare the results with your LMS. Learn more about using SCORM Cloud to troubleshoot LMS issues.

We can dig deeper into the investigation if you continue to encounter the same issue with the course hosted in SCORM Cloud. You may upload your published Rise 360 course and/or Storyline project file with us by opening a case here so that our Support Engineers will be able to take a closer look.
