I leave the allow forward seeking unchecked for videos which works on a desktop computer but doesn't prevent forward scrubbing on an iphone? Anybody else have this issue or knows how to prevent forward seeking in Rise on the iphone? thanks.. ;)
Hi Gerry! Thanks for reaching out! Rise.com has no control over the player on a mobile device, however, if "allow forward seeking" is off, even though you can seek and scrub forward it will instead jump back to where you left off and play from there.
If the video is actually jumping forward, please record the issue and provide the iOS version and mobile device version. Then, please share these details in a case with us here and we'll investigate further!
Hi! We encounter this problem as well where we tested the video on our own device (Iphone 14 pro, latest IOS version) and we are able to seek forward the video. Kindly advise on what we can do to stop this from happening.
Sorry to hear that you ran into this issue. We are tracking a known bug in Rise 360 where users can scrub through a video even if forward seeking is disabled and unlock the continue block (iPhone).
