Auto Play Audio
Yes, this is a feature that I would also like to see. It's great to see that there are more blocks with audio features in Rise, but none of them have the auto-play feature. I would love to be able to have the auto play function without creating a custom code block.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I understand you'd like the ability to have audio play automatically in Rise 360 without needing to create a custom Code Block. It's great to hear that the additional audio-enabled blocks are useful, but I can see how not having a native autoplay option creates extra work.

- What types of courses are you building where autoplay would be most valuable?
- Are you primarily using audio for narration, instructions, accessibility, or something else?
- How are you handling this today when you need audio to start automatically?
- If Rise supported native autoplay, what difference would that make for you or your learners?

Hello, Thanks for responding. We currently have a series of courses that were created several years ago in Presenter and we'd like to begin updating them and moving them into Rise. In Presenter, we had narration that played automatically as learners viewed the slides. We were hoping to preserve that part of the learning experience. (We could convert the courses into Storyline, which allows for auto-play narration, but we don't need the more complex design features of Storyline, so Rise seemed a better option). Course content focuses on product knowledge for sales associates.
Narration could also help with accessibility, although we don't have many stats on how that would affect our audience.
We may be able to use a custom code block to create auto-play, however, we would prefer native Rise blocks, as they are easier to edit and they translate easily through xliff files.
We think having the ability for auto narration for designated blocks in Rise would enhance the learning experience as it helps reinforce what the learner is reading on the screen. Having autoplay would also expand the range of options we have as instructional designers.
