Bugs and Suggestions Storyline
Switching back and forth between tabs that are two different scenes. It just will magically become the scene I was just in.. and I lose the slides I was jump back and forth between.
Hover state. If I have normal black text, hover white and a new state called complete with red text. When you hover it just put the red text on the hover background which becomes unreadable.
Format Painter will randomly make my corners rounded still. Some states it will change what the text is as well, mostly the hover state the text will change.
Selecting options for Free Form will randomly gives answers rounded edges, if they do not have a select state.
Importing powerpoint, gradients don't import properly anymore.
Hitting undo after using the format painter one multiple items, it freezes the program. Most times if you have the tool still selected.
Nice to Have:
Shortcut key for Paste text only
Publish a certain Scene
Variables to know how many drag and drop were wrong, how many they missed of select multiple choice.
Recoloring SVG
To powerpoint export, no triggers, animations all layers new slides. How word is set up, but we can edit the text in powerpoint.

Hi BratKelley-0fcb,
Thanks so much for taking the time to outline all of this! I know how discouraging it can feel when things aren’t behaving the way you expect, and I really appreciate the level of detail you included.
For the issues you’re seeing with scenes switching, hover states, Format Painter changes, Freeform styling, PowerPoint imports, and Storyline freezing, it would help us a lot to see exactly what’s happening on your end. When you have a moment, could you share a quick screen recording so we can make sure we’re looking at the same behavior? If the issues are happening in a specific Storyline file, you’re also welcome to share that here, or privately through a support case if you prefer.
And thank you as well for your suggestions. A shortcut for pasting text only, publishing a specific scene, exposing variables that track incorrect drag-and-drop or missed choices, recoloring SVGs, and exporting to PowerPoint with editable text would all make workflows more flexible. I’ve shared each of these ideas with our product team so they can consider them as they continue shaping future updates.
If you’d like to add anything else that would make your day-to-day work smoother, we’re all ears.
