Presenter '13: Adding and Editing Characters

Articulate Presenter offers many illustrated and photographic characters for adding life to your courses. Both male and female characters are available in a variety of styles, poses, and expressions.
Presenter comes with several illustrated characters and one photographic character. Additional characters can be purchased in the Articulate Store.
Adding a Character
Here's how to add a character to your course:
- Go to the Articulate tab on the PowerPoint ribbon.
- Click the Character drop-down, and choose either Illustrated or Photographic.
- When the character window appears, use the buttons at the top and lower right corner to customize your character.
- If you're inserting an illustrated character, choose the character, expression, pose, and perspective.
- If you're inserting a photographic character, choose the character, pose, and crop.
As you make selections, the preview on the right side of the window will update to reflect your choices.
- Click Insert to add your character to the current slide.
After inserting a character, you can modify it like any other image in PowerPoint. You can move, resize, crop, format, and animate it.
Editing the Style of a Character
You can change the expression, pose, perspective, or crop of a character after inserting it. You can even swap out one character for another and retain the other attributes. Here's how:
- Select the character you want to edit, and go to the Articulate tab on the PowerPoint ribbon.
- Click the Character drop-down, and choose Edit Character.
- When the character window appears, use the buttons at the top and lower right corner to customize your character.
- Click Insert to save your changes.
