Hi, Is it just me? Or have other people had serious lag time using Rise and Storyline after the latest Windows updates? Trying to get the preview to play, hitting spacebar, adjusting CC on audio and video files, and even just opening Storyline or Rise is taking really long. Hi All, This is driving me crazy and it's absolutely hindering my ability to publish eLearning content for my organization. I never had a problem with this until the past two months, and all other online training we receive from a vendor (including ones built in Storyline) work just fine. I am publishing a course, as I have always done and adding voiceover tracks to narrate the material, but they aren't all consistently playing. Some slides will play, then some slides will be silent, and then it'll start back up again. When clicking "Previous" or going back a slide, the audio will decide to play. I can't figure out why this is happening and it's severely impacting my productivity. Any ideas? I see the one similar comment from a year ago about adding a play button, but this issue just started and I am wondering if some setting might be causing it. Hi, I’m experiencing a problem with Review 360 where reviewers are posting comments, but these seem to disappear very quickly after being posted. While the reviewer believes they have submitted their review, I’m left with an empty review course. I’ve confirmed that this has happened with two different people on the same course. They have checked the review links, and the comments are also not showing up for them. What makes it even stranger is that other people have been able to successfully post their comments on this course. For these comments, I’ve received notifications in my email, but I’m not notified about the disappearing ones. I’ve already seen multiple threads regarding this issue on this forum, but no fix is mentioned anywhere. I’ve tried enabling resolved comments, turning comments off and on again, but to no avail. Hello everyone, When I add comments in the review link, they are not saved (actually, they disappear on the spot when I click 'comments'). Hi everyone, Since the latest update, i've noticed that the loading/ buffering screen that shows up when you are transitioning between slides, doesnt cover the entire screen. Has anyone else encountered this, or is there a fix for it already? HELP! I created a file and localized it with English/Spanish. I published for review. It went great. Now I need to make a similar file, so I started with my existing file and made a copy of it. Made a whole bunch of changes, updated translations, etc. But when I go to publish to review 360, it wants to publish to the original review. But this is a NEW file. How do I fix this? Do I have to start over every time with a non-localized file and redo all the formatting (getting rid of scroll bars, etc) again? I should always be able to publish as a NEW review when I want to. Hi Everyone, I’m observing different behaviors when opening external files using the “Open URL/File” trigger in Storyline 360. Here’s what I’ve noticed: PDF files open in a single new tab. Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), and PowerPoint (.pptx) files open in two tabs: One blank/untitled tab One tab where the file loads or downloads Initially, I tested this in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, and later confirmed the same behavior in Microsoft Edge as well. From what I understand: Microsoft Edge has specific settings for handling PDF documents. Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are both Chromium-based browsers, but they may have different controls and capabilities when handling web-based interactions. Unlike Edge (for PDFs), Google Chrome does not have a built-in option to open Microsoft Office files directly in the browser. Chrome and Firefox do not natively support viewing Office documents unless a plugin or extension (like a Docs viewer extension) is installed. Therefore, it seems this behavior is browser-specific and not directly controlled by Articulate Storyline. Since Storyline cannot control how browsers handle specific file types, I assume the double-tab behavior may be related to how the browser processes unsupported file formats. Has anyone else experienced this? Is converting Office files to PDF the only reliable workaround? Appreciate your insights! And my personal opinion would be to bring some update in Storyline so that all external files can be treated as same?Preview mode and Review 360 mode
This is very bizarre -- i have several projects that have triggers set up to go to the next slide when the timeline ends. But for some reason, this new issue has emerged where this one specific slide with an .mp4 video and .m4a audio will not automatically play after published to Review 360 or published to SCORM. It functions as designed in "Preview" mode but not currently in Review 360. Q: Why is slide 2 not playing automatically?? I've been trying everything to resolve -- added a trigger "Play media 'screencast" when timeline starts" and "Play media 'Audio 1' when timeline starts." This seemed to work at first and then eventually caused other issues in the slide - no audio and when pressing replay, audio and video do not sync. I have published the project using SCROM 2004, however I am unable to locate the learner responses to those open ended questions. Is there another LMS I should be using?
