12487 TopicsPre-test issue (Lessons must be completed in order)
Hi, looking for some help. I've added two button stacks within a section before the pre-test. People can choose to take the pre-test (button stack takes them to the next section which is the pre-test) or choose to take the full module (button stack takes them to the section after the pre-test). When someone selects the pre-test option, I've tested this and all is working fine (both when someone fails it or passes). If they fail, they are forced to do the full module and then take the end-test. If they pass, they go to the end and exit. However, the issue I have is that when someone chooses to bypass the pre-test, and select the button stack that goes past this, should they then pass the end-test, the course says "Lessons must be completed in order" and they cannot get to the end. I assume this is because they've missed the previously pre-test completely. Is there a fix for this? I've attached two screenshots.15Views0likes0CommentsI'm frustrated at how limited Articulate's AI is
Hi, I'm really frustrated with how poor the AI in Articulate is. I just sent it to turn the knowledge checks from throughout my course into a final quiz, and the AI told me it couldn't do it. That is a serious limitation that is unacceptable. The Storyline AI has similar ridiculous limitations. Yesterday, I tried to get it to use my templates to build a wireframe for a new course. It told me it couldn't access my Articulate Templates. The AI images and audio are great, but the sync is useless half the time. When will we get a functional AI that has the ability to do simple things like this?23Views0likes0CommentsDo Quizzes in Rise supprt question-level reporting?
Does anyone know whether Rise quizzes support question-level reporting? (By question-level reporting, I mean that Rise sends data showing how learners answered each individual quiz question (for example, Question 4 = correct, Question 5 = incorrect, selected Answer B, rather than only receiving a final score, pass/fail status, or completion status.) I know this can be done in Storyline, but I found an older discussion indicating that Rise did not support question-level reporting at that time, although it was listed as a planned enhancement. We're currently publishing using SCORM 2004. If Rise now supports question-level reporting, we're open to using a different publishing option if needed. Has anyone successfully pulled question-level quiz data from a Rise course, either through SCORM reporting or another reporting method?Solved39Views0likes3CommentsDo Quizzes in Rise supprt question-level reporting?

Hi everyone, I’m developing an e-learning course in Articulate Rise and I’m wondering whether it’s possible to personalise certain pages or exercises based on a participant’s answer to a question at the beginning of the course. Concretely, I’d like to ask participants at the start what their profession is (e.g. midwife, pharmacist, pharmacist in training, etc.). Based on their answer, I would then like the cases and exercises later in the course to automatically adapt to their professional background. For example, one exercise might look like this: Case 1 – Asking a relevant question You are a midwife and see a pregnant client for a consultation. During the conversation, she tells you that she still smokes a few cigarettes a day. You want to explore the topic further. If the participant indicated at the beginning that they are a pharmacist, I would like the case to automatically change to a situation that is relevant to a pharmacist instead. Is this possible in Rise? If so, what would be the best way to set this up? If it is technically possible, I’d also like to work with the different professional organisations to develop realistic cases for each professional group. Thanks in advance for any advice or examples!47Views0likes4CommentsIssues with making a "Skip ahead if passed" quiz optional
I'd like to use the "skip ahead if passed" feature to create a test-out quiz. However, I want to make the test-out optional; if a user doesn't want to attempt it they should be able to skip it and just take the course. I tried achieving this by putting a button stack before the quiz. One button goes to the quiz, and the other button goes to the lesson after the quiz. Unfortunately this seems problematic, because if you skip the quiz, you can advance using continue buttons, but if you navigate backwards at all, the continue buttons are gone (which is normal behavior) but the navigation is still locked. In other words, once you've activated a "skip ahead if passed" quiz, the quiz is the ONLY way to unlock subsequent content. This results in the user getting stuck, and not being able to proceed without going back to the quiz and passing it. Is there some workaround for this? Has anyone else tried making a "skip ahead" quiz optional?38Views0likes2CommentsRise 360 – Need course to be marked Complete even if learner fails the quiz
Hi, I’m trying to configure a Rise 360 course so that the course is marked as Completed in our LMS even if the learner fails the final Knowledge Check. Here is what I need: The course has an 11-question Knowledge Check. Passing score is 90%. Learners are allowed multiple attempts. If they pass, the course should be marked Completed. If they fail all available attempts, I still need the course to be marked Completed, rather than In Progress. The Knowledge Check is the final activity in the course. Is this currently possible in Rise 360 with SCORM 1.2? If so, what exact settings should I use? If not, is there a recommended workaround that would allow the LMS to record the course as Completed even when the final quiz is failed? Thank you!10Views0likes0CommentsRise VO cutting off
I have an issue where I generate some AI voiceover, and it sounds fine. When I insert and preview it in the course, the sentence is being cut short, like the last word gets cut off midway through. This has happened to almost all the VO in the course. The sentences are not that long. What is the best way to resolve this, please?40Views0likes3CommentsRise 360: "Restore" to newest snapshot?
In one of my Rise courses, I have a snapshot of the current and previous versions of a course. I want to give a "before and after" demonstration, where I show the previous version of the course, then the current version. I'm concerned about going back to a previous snapshot and potentially "losing" the current version. If I switch from the current to the previous version, will I be able to "restore" the current version, similar to a redo after undoing a change? I couldn't find anything in previous discussions or the support article on snapshots, so hoping there's a definitive answer. With that in mind, I think it would be helpful to add the answer to the knowledge base article in the future. Cheers.46Views0likes2Comments
