Using Engage Interactions in Rise 360

Jan 25, 2021

Am I able to import an Engage Interaction into a Rise 360 course?

I really like these interaction options and want to use several of them in my Rise 360 courses.  Is it possible?  Please let me know how to do this.

Thanks.

Hello Mark and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊

I'm glad to see that you were able to track down what you were looking for.

For anyone following along, Tom offered two options:

  1. Publish the Engage file and put it on a web server and use the Rise embed block and an iframe.
  2. Import the Engage interaction into a single Storyline slide. Turn off all the SL player features. Then insert as a Storyline block.

Let us know how the Storyline Block option works for you.

Hi Zahra,

1. You can to publish Engage as a standalone interaction for Web, then host it on a web server. Next, copy the public URL to the intr.html.

Within Rise, create a URL/Embed lesson or the Embed block type, and use this iFrame code there:

<iframe src="Insert Your URL to the intr.html Here"></iframe>

2. You can also opt to import your Engage interactions into Storyline  using the steps here. You need to disable all the player elements of Engage and Storyline to make it look as seamless as possible. Publish the Storyline project to Review 360 and then follow the steps here to insert the Storyline block into Rise.
