Publishing Slides in Spanish

Hello,

I am trying to accurately publish a presentation that is done in Spanish. I have gone to start-control panel-region &language- and installed "Europe", but this still doesn't give me the ability to write/type in the correct characters. I am unable to publish the slides that the instructor sent to me accurately.

How can I get these slides to publish accurately without having to go through a third-party translator/publisher?

  • Hey Tia!

You mentioned that you installed Europe, but I think the only language that can be installed where the region is listed as Europe is English. I´d do two things, first double check you installed Espanol (Spain), and then in the bottom right of your computer's taskbar you should have a toggle option to toggle between ENG and ESP.

Once you're in Storyline, just make sure you're toggled to ESP in the computer taskbar, and then your keyboard will be set to Spanish. Some items like accents on a's or e's require you to press the apostrophe, then the letter. Others, like ñ, are different keys (the ñ on the ESP keyboard is the semicolon on a standard ENG keyboard).
