Welcome to the New E-Learning Heroes!
Hello! I’m Ginger Swart, a Community Manager here at Articulate, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to our new E-Learning Heroes Community! Please check out this article to watch a walkthrough video of our site and our FAQ article for more information.
The work to move to our new site started over a year ago. To prepare for this, we have migrated over 1.5 million community members, 2100+ articles, 970+ examples and downloads, and more discussion posts than I can count! We had a beta period with our Super Heroes, and we appreciate all of the feedback we received from them. But with that much content, we anticipate there will be some hiccups, so please use this discussion to let us know about any issues you find and any feedback you want to share with us.
I hope you’ll love the new community as much as I do!

Hi Ginger,
Looking good. Maybe this is in the works, or I have missed the instruction. I cannot find an icon/button/text... to access my portfolio of courses in my Articulate account. Is that still something Articulate offers?
Thank you!- AngeCommunity Member
If anyone else is interested in where their Portfolios on Articulate have disappeared to, here is a response from Articulate support:
"Thank you for asking about our updated E-Learning Heroes community! The portfolio feature, which allows you to see a list of projects you’ve shared with the community, doesn’t exist yet. When it becomes available, we’ll announce it in the community. Let me know if you have any other questions. I’m happy to help!"

Will you be reintroducing the option to have page numbers on the discussion pages, rather than the hideous 'load more' style method of trying to navigate to older posts? Loading 10 at a time is just so slow for loading old posts you know you saw yesterday and wanted to contribute to - that's 50x click-wait-load-scroll-click-agains. Ugh. Clicking back to page 7 or 8 then skipping to page 15 - works well, makes sense. If you can't do that, please add a setting in my profile for 'Show 100 posts per page' or similar.
Hi TimArticulateTr, Unfortunately, that setting is not within our control to change right now, but it is on my feature request list for our platform provider. It does look like other customers of theirs have requested that as well, so hopefully, they'll change it.

We have this epic thread (915 responses!) we've been using to discuss Storyline in the Cornerstone LMS, and now it is pretty useless because there is no way to get to the newest messages.this epic thread

You need to click the Follow (old subscribe) button at the top right of the thread.
Then you will get notifications of new message/replies.

Tim is so right about the need to be able to navigate.
It would really be nice to have back the participating icon. It makes it so much easier for non-staff to follow up with people we are helping on an on-going manner.
Still, there’s a lot to like.

Nice work so far. But please bring back that the topic title is the subject line in the email notification. This way I could see directly whether I was interested in the topic of the notification or not without always having to click into the mail first. This "Subscription Update on Articulate - Community" as subject is so annoying!

Excellent point Mark.

I miss having the topic titles in the email subjects as well. It is annoying to open the messages now.

I think part of what is annoying is that I am getting email notifications for things I never asked to be notified about.

I appreciate that all the discussions/questions are together and can be tagged.
I agree with Tim about navigation. Having to click "Show More" multiple times will be frustrating.
In addition, I miss the "Participating" option. Sure, I can go to my Profile and scroll down to my activities to access which discussions I've replied to. But that list doesn't show me if there are more recent replies or follow-up questions. And it's longer than the old "Participating" list used to be, since it has a separate listing for each reply (instead of just one listing per discussion).
One more thing: The pilot had way more options for formatting text. I don't mind that many of those aren't available, because they could get excessive. However, I don't see a way to control the indent for bullets.
- First level bullet
- But how do I indent to create additional levels?
One more suggestion: I was in the pilot, and I know I can click one of the tags at the top of the Discussion page to filter the list so it only shows posts with those tags. But I'm not sure others will know that. I think it would help to include a short instruction, e.g., "Click a tag to filter the list."

Is there still not an option under my profile to view support cases and feature requests I have logged? I was hoping the update would bring this feature in as it would be good to see the status of these. I log issues and feature requests and forget to follow-up sometimes.
Hi SamHill, Unfortunately, that's not currently an option that we can offer. But I'll log that as a community feature request with our vendor. Support cases and feature requests made via our website go into a different piece of software that isn't connected to our community. If you use the community's Suggest Ideas area, those will appear in your profile.

Along with the Participating filter mentioned above, the Unread and even the No Replies filters were extremely useful in quickly identifying new issues that we may have the expertise to help other users with. I see the No Replies filter is on the main discussion page but not on the sub-pages, like Storyline 360 topics. I feel a lot of issues are going to rapidly scroll out of view and never receive helpful answers.

Yes to this one, being able to filter by 0 replies is useful for supporting peoples issues that slip down beyond page 1.

This morning when I tried to post a response to a question, I was prevented from doing so, because I had exceeded the number of posts I was permitted to make, and was encouraged to try again later. This was my first post of the day.
I have made very few posts on this new system, so how did I exceed the permissible number of posts?
Edit 3 Sep 2024.
It just happened to me again. It seems I'm limited to approximately 3 posts per day.
- BenoitDoidic172Community Member
Is this real? I hope a "3 a day" post limit is just temporary while the platform is getting run through the paces.
- KarlMullerCommunity Member
I opened a Tech Support Case, and this is a problem with only a small number of accounts.
- RichardMulcahyCommunity Member
Not loving the new UI, maybe I just need more time to get use to it.

Anyone else have issues with post replies being rejected if you type the number 3 as an actual numeral? This has happened to me repeatedly across multiple posts. It does not always happen, but when it does it will generate a popup that says something like "3" is not allowed in the community. Until I replace 3 with three, I can't post.
