Are layers included in the in the duration approximation?

Hi there,
I didn't see any guidance/answer, so I thought I would ask. I know from from the "Home" tab, you can click into the "Publish" option then use the ellipsis right of the project title to see an approximate duration.

Are any slide layers included in this approximation? Or is it "base" slides only?
