Reset slide duration to match slide

When Storyline makes a slide duration too long. here is the quick fix:

Select an object (Usually, I choose the longest -- typically the audio -- OR temporarily add an object that has <desired slide length> duration.)

Right click

Select "Fit Timeline to Longest Object".

Done.
