After entering the question and all the selection, I realised I chose the wrong type. I am suppose to select multiple response instead I wrong selected multiple choice. Instead of recreating the quiz slide, is there a quick way to flip the form type?
you can simply click on "insert" and click on "remove freeform" . Than click again on " insert" and click on "convert freeform" and choose the quiz type.
Hope it will work for you. Otherwise, you can share your file and i can do it for you. cheers
you are right, remove freefrom is grey out because you did not converted a simple slide into freeform. I usually put everything on a simple slide and than convert it to a quiz etc. In this way, i can always come back and change the quiz type. I am afraid that you have to redo the slide. (according to my knowledge)
Exactly Annie! Even if it cannot assist those previously, it could certainly assist someone else that runs across this thread in the future. Thank you for sharing.
Same problem here. After 4 years is it possible to have a solution implemented to change the question type without wasting time in re-doing and branching the slides?
This is a feature request that we are tracking, so I'll be sure to include this conversation in our report. I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.
I'm not sure of what question type you are needing to change from or to, but my colleague, Katie, shared a great idea here.
I hope that helps you get headed in the right direction.
many thanks for your answer and workaround. However if there are other requests to implement this feature it makes sense to prioritize that also considering the fact that, beside other posts, 4 years are a lot of time....
I would also like to request this feature as I run into it a lot and it's a bit of a hassle to copy and paste audio and retime it along with my custom feedback slides. It's been a couple of years since it was last suggested. I am sure other folx run into this too.
Thank you for reaching out! We currently have a feature request logged for the option to change the question type. I'll add your vote and will be sure to update this discussion if this makes it to our feature roadmap. We appreciate your feedback!

Hi,
I tried but the "remove freeform" is grey out. Am I missing something? I attach my storyline file. The slide I am trying to change is slide 2.1.
Do let me know the steps because I am learning Storyline. :)
Thanks a ton.

OK. I will be careful and select the right quiz type next time. Thanks for
your help.
you are welcome. By the way, it looks quite impresive what you are doing :)
Hello,
I know this is a late response, but in case other people get the same problem, Tracy Parish has a solution:
https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/change-a-multiple-choice-question-to-a-pick-many
(Better late than never, or so they say...)
Hope this helps!

But that solution is not working, even on the video You can see that. If You click on the preview You can only choose one answer :(
Hi Grzegorz!
I'm not sure what you are referring to. Are you having an issue with a course that you would like some assistance with?
For anyone following along, I am also assisting Grzegorz here.
