I get this error code 5-6 time a week. (attached file) Not doing anything fancy or crazy just dropping in pictures or audio or even just opening the file. NO consistent pattern. I have sent in comments every time it comes up but never heard anything. I have to close it and reopen to get rid of the red "X".

First, are you working from your local C: drive, and not a network or flash drive?
If it's happening in any/all files, you should conduct a repairof your software.
