100% pass in quiz not achieved, what then?

Hi all. I've got a quiz in Rise with a 100% pass mark requirement and three attempts allowed. If the participant passes, then they move to the final lesson which is an acknowledgement and an 'Exit course' button which triggers their result to be recorded in Success Factors.

If the participant scores less than 100% on attempts one and two, they get the 'Try again' button.

The issue is that when someone does not pass on the third attempt, they remain 'stuck' on that screen. There are no 'exit' buttons and I cannot find any options to add a message at this point. (see attached) 

The individuals who have experienced this have raised tickets with the HelpDesk as they assume that something is broken in the course. 

Any suggestions?
