Accessibility Tips and Tricks (SOS)
Hello all!
I've been working on improving the accessibility in my courses. I'm finding it to be excessively time consuming. How do you all manage accessibility in an efficient manner? For example, when I finish courses I might have to review 600+ of the attached. Do ya'll rename each item?
Note: We don't have the subscription that includes AI.
I appreciate anything you guys can share!
Thanks

I am finding the same problem, so I am apologize that I can't help you. I am very disappointed that Articulate is not automatically accessible. For example, the Rise360 theme colors are not accessible, so it appears that you have to change each color as you go. You would think they could develop a few of the themes to have accessible colors and mark those as accessible. I am fairly new to Articulate, so I am interested in following the answers to your question.

JessDavis1: As I'm building a course, I always take the time to give objects meaningful names. That makes it much easier to program, to troubleshoot, and to set accessibility. (I also recommend giving meaningful names to layers, motion paths, and variables.)
The most efficient way to add alt text depends on how many images are in the course and on personal preference. You could do it as you develop each slide, do it at the end, or do some combination of the two.
BTW, instead of going slide by slide, you can add alt text in the Media Library:
