Let me start by saying I haven't looked at this, and certainly haven't tried it. But doesn't PP have an export to .MP4 option? If so, can you create a video then use that inside your SL slide?
I'm guessing that any export to MP4 output may be low quality, but perhaps worth a try.
This is actually what I end up doing all the time. It would just be nice to do it right in SL, or even just to know why we can't do it in SL.
