Articulate Review: Passwords Being Required

I'm using Articulate Review for the first time for my Articulate Presenter 360 course. Even though I have checked the box that allows people to enter comments without a password,  when the reviewer clicks the comment box, she enters her email address, but then is asked for a password. The reviewer does not have any previous experience with Articulate, so does not have an existing Articulate account/password. What can I do?

  • I am having the same issue with our SME. He used to review with no issues earlier. And he does not have an articulate ID associated with that email address.

    Has anybody found a solution?

  • Thanks for contacting our support team as well, Anjali. I can see that you are working directly with Darrell.

  • Hello Diane,

Thanks for sharing your similar experience and your settings.

    1. Your SME will be prompted to enter their email address to post comments so they can receive notifications for replies.
    2. If their email address is tied to an Articulate ID and if they aren't already signed in, they'll be prompted to enter their password.

Review 360: Allow Reviewers to Comment Without an Account

I've recorded a quick Peek 360 video outlining what this looks like and if you'd like me to check any email addresses, you can send them to me privately here

I am having this problem for a second time on the same project: No password set for the course, marked to allow people w/o Articulate IDs to comment and neither of them have EVER had an Articulate ID.

Please advise ASAP. This is bad for business. I am hoping there has been some sort of progress on this, since the last comment in this thread was posted, four years ago.

    Thank you.

      Hello Ryan,

I'm sorry you've hit this snag for the second time on the same Review project. I see you started a support case as well—smart move! Thanks for sharing the Review 360 link and the reviewers' email addresses. Please expect an email from my teammate Lianne shortly with her investigation results.

  • Hi Ryan,

Thanks for letting us know! I've let Lianne know within your support case.

It looks like part of your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.

Have a great start to your day!
