Assessment Grading
Good afternoon
My assessment seems to be recording every key click which is giving false passing scores. Is there a way it will only record the first option selected per question? For the medical students, we want them to see the explanation of the choice (correct or incorrect) and be able to select the correct one as a way to move forward. However, we only want to record the pointy value for the first selection (no matter correct or incorrect). Anything after that on the slide is just information to them. Can that be done?
Thanks

Hi, Jason.
I'm not sure I fully understand what you're trying to accomplish. Would you be comfortable sharing your .story file either here or privately through a support case?
I'm curious about how your project is set up:
- Do you have more than one attempt per question?
- Do you have feedback enabled on your questions?
- Do you have a Results slide?

Hi. I added the assessment. The idea is the medical student can choose an answer. The correct answer awards 10 points. The incorrect answers pop up an explanation and can be worth 0 to -10 points. If the incorrect answer is selected, the medical student can try again. However, these 2nd or 3rd tries (all on the same slide) should NOT be counted. Only the first click choice.

2nd and 3rd tries are counted, there is no way to not score attempts unless you also build dummy questions

Yikes. That is unfortunate. So each slide will need an answer branch and each wrong answer branch. So this will only work in a linear fashion?
