Can anybody tell me where I can get GIFs for a "Congratulations you have finished your course" slide?

Hi, I would like to add some animation to the last slide with a GIF.

The slide says "Congratulations! You have finished your course."

I would like some confetti falling or fireworks, or something like that.

Thank you for your advice.

J.

  • I use PowerPoint to create the animation. You can export as MP4 and convert to a gif. Or capture the animation in real time.

Screen2Gif is a free tool to do that.

  • Hi J,

I use any opportunity on the iPhone to "send a message with Confetti or Balloons", so I love this idea! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ†

Are you using Storyline 360? If so, I did a quick search on Confetti and Fireworks in Content Library and a found a bunch of images. I know you were looking for a GIF so try the videos tab, and I saw a bunch of Fireworks videos, and just a few confetti ones.

Glitter and confetti tend to get everywhere, so use it sparingly! ๐Ÿ˜‰

This might be a stupid question, but I am wondering why is it better to use a gif than just to insert a video of the confetti on the celebration slide? I am looking to create the same thing and wondering if it matters which I use.

    Thank you!

  • There are no stupid questions, Melissa.

I'm not sure that it's better, but simply a response to the question initially asked. There are many different ways to do things in Storyline. In this instance, it could be as simple as file size, but ultimately it comes down to your design and what you want from your project.

I'll leave any other feedback of video vs. gif to the community.

Thank you Leslie for your response. That makes sense and helps.
