Can we stop compressing mp3 files

I need a work-around for this please.

Why does EVERY audio clip need to be encoded EVERY TIME I export, when I set compression to None?

I have a gazillion audio clips and it would be ok if it at least used 100% CPU. But why only 2-5% CPU utilization?

Also let us adjust compression settings for all audio clips in entire project at same time. (Also why does it always lag when creating and editing States of objects :) )

Storyline version 3.61.27106.0 / r9 3900x rtx3060 128gb ddr4 ram clocked at 3200mhz pci-e gen 4 m.2 ssd with 7000/7000 mbps  read/write speeds.

We are running 3D games with 120fps at 4k using 8k textures and computing a gazillion vertices per millisecond, while raytracing, but we can’t compress at 21kb mp3 file faster than 5 seconds or move a 2D vector square within states without lag. It's very hard to understand.

The frustrations are huge. :D Is there some work around so I don't have to compress all my audio files every time I want to publish my project please.

  • Hi!

I'm happy to share that today we just shipped 64-bit Storyline 360!

To use 64-bit Storyline 360, make sure to update your Articulate 360 desktop app, then click the Install button next to the Storyline 360 app with the 64-bit and beta labels. The Install button will change to an Open button when the installation is complete.

Since this version is in beta, we'd love for you to test it out and share your feedback and experience with us by replying to this discussion.

  • I don't know wether to laugh or cry.

It's such a wonderful program with so many thousands of features that are insanely cleverly thought out - but a couple of handful of issues really irks the user experience.

    Here's to hoping.
