Can you edit Storyline within SharePoint cloud?

Yes, it's possible to open a .story file over a network. But there's a reason Articulate emphasizes that they should be opened on a local drive.
You might not notice network latency, but it can corrupt a project. Sadly, the community has lots of examples of that happening.
So it's worth the effort to always open .story files on your local drive, even if that means uploading and downloading to/from SharePoint or wherever.
And if you're the only one working on a given project, then the download step isn't needed. Just keep working on the file on your local drive. When you're done editing, upload a copy to the backup location.
