Can't Decrease the Total Display Time
Wondering if someone can help me out. I have tried everything I can think of to decrease the total display time on one of my slides. The audio completes at 1min 37.32sec. However, the timeline continues to 10min 37.63 sec. I have made sure that there are no locked objects on the timeline. I have tried zooming the timeline. Strangely, when I left-click on the End of the timeline, I cannot drag it to the left. Instead, the timeline jumps back to the beginning.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may find better assistance if you can upload that slide as standalone story...

Hi Joe,
Thank you for jumping in. Please find attached the problematic slide as a standalone story.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is interesting....I tried pulling the timeline from right to left at the bottom (instead of the top) where the last object is located (i.e., title). I was able to reduce the total display time from 10min 37.63 sec to 3min 38.25sec. However, I still can't get it to decrease to the end of the audio file at 1min 37.32sec.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Kandi - I was able to get the timeline fixed. See attached story file.
As to *why* the problem occurred in the first place, I suppose it's ultimately the same reason that most issues occur: some type of human error committed without recognizing what had happened.
One reason why the timeline wouldn't reduce to less than 3 min., 38.25 sec. is that there were two objects (the wall and the TV; see timing01) which were *not* set to "show until end" (of the slide; see show_to_end). Both objects had no time limits, so if you opened the Timing for the object (see timing00), you could adjust that to whatever you need it to be - I set these to 1 min., 38 sec.
You can set the timing of the objects and elements to whatever you need, of course, but if you see the problem again, I would check the timing of any object that is not flagged as "show to end."
Good luck! Looks like a great project!

Hi Joe,
Can't thank you enough for investigating the issue so quickly and for devising a solution :)
